Wheels Whir and Away You Go!
There is no end to the creative ways cars, bikes, motorcycles and everything in between can be re-imagined in the Steampunk aesthetic. I created this gallery of steamy vehicles via pinterest, and when possible I listed the artist’s name. If you see something without a credit but you know the source please leave me a comment below. Also, if you have a steamy vehicle you created or have drawn please send me a pic at ForWhomTheGearTurns <at> gmail.com.

There are also tons of awesome Steampunk vehicles that were part of the 2012 Paralympics closing ceremony, the Festival of Flame. Check out the video below or my gallery of images here.
OM! So many delightful ways of travelling – I want them all!!!!
I’m dishing out last minute awards on my blog today and there’s a few there for you: http://childoftheisland.wordpress.com/2013/12/31/last-minute-gifts-and-blessings/
Many thanks for the inspiration your blog has given me this year – a constant source of smiles 🙂

That’s brilliant. I particularly love the whimsy of the snail-mobile.

This is my first time stopping by, and your blog as absolutely fabulous! A few friends and I are just starting up a steampunk blog over at Steampunk Shelter. Would love some comments if you’ve got any freetime [ha!]. No pressure, though. Thanks for doing what you do- I will definitely be back. 🙂

Thanks! I stopped by your site (very cool background by the way) and one comment I would make is to make sure there is at least a paragraph to go along with most posts. I’ve been reading a lot about getting hits from search engines and Google, for instance, hardly pays attention to sites with less than 2000 words of original content. I’m looking forward to staying in touch 🙂
