Cog Couture: The Jewelry Designs of Angela Venable
The first place I ran across Angela Venable’s work was on YouTube. She has posted a video tutorial about how she creates her Steampunk statement necklaces. I recognized many of the findings and paper from my own sojourns to Michael’s and I think we share a similar aesthetic. I’ll start posting some of my own art soon (the pesky camera is acting up on me) but until then I hope you enjoy this sampling of Angela’s jewelry and paper arts.

Those are fabulous. I particularly like the one with the circular bits that look like they might once have been cufflinks.

Thanks! I haven’t been using the British spelling of jewelry when I have been searching so I hadn’t run across her yet.

Oh thank you so much for sharing this. I’m glad you found me. I just started that YouTube channel lol. So cool. I just finished moving in to my new place today so now it’s time to unpack. Ugh. I know. Lol. But soon I will be back playing with more designs etc. Thank you again! 🙂
