Halloween is a great time to let out your inner “punk,” but I ran across these two amazing makeup creations that go above and beyond great coats and bloomers (not that there is anything wrong with those!)

Steampunk Frankenstein’s monster- Amazing!

Mary Shelley’s 1818 novel is a perfect vehicle for Steampunk and this interpretation of the monster (which is hardly described at all in the book) is breath-taking. I originally found the image on pinterest and it took me some time but I finally found the source.

It took me a couple glances to realize the collar is totally done with makeup! I went on to Archaical’s DeviantArt site and found many more amazing creations, some of which are Steampunk. (http://archaical.deviantart.com/gallery/)
