I was going to do a post for Sept-Nov, but it turns out there are so many awesome events going on in September that I decided to split up the Fall convention schedule into multiple posts. Are you planning to go to any of these events? Please comment below!

Name: Big River Steampunk Festival, Sept 5-7
Description: The Big River Steampunk Festival features fantastic events, fun contests and amazing performances that take place throughout historic downtown Hannibal — put on your “Steam Persona” and relive the days of steamboats, steam trains, and the romance of the Victorian era along the western shore of the mighty Mississippi River! Reimagine history and immerse yourself in a true Victorian setting as you stroll down Hannibal’s Historic Main Street in Costume and Cosplay, recalling the golden years of Hannibal during the era of the Gilded Age — a term coined by none other than Hannibal’s own Mark Twain!
Location: Hannibal, Missouri
Tickets: Free admission to festival, but special events require a separate ticket. Check out the website above for availability and schedule of events

Name: Springfield Steampunk Festival, Sept 11-13
The Springfield Vermont Steampunk Festival started as a Facebook group of like-minded Steampunk fans just sharing Steampunk photos and thoughts. The talk turned to the possibility of a Steampunk Festival and that talk turned into the real thing – The Springfield Vermont Steampunk Festival and thus began the Steampunk Society of Vermont. In January 2015 the Steampunk Society of Vermont partnered with Hartness House Inn in presenting this Steampunk Festival. Net proceeds from the festival go to benefit the Springfield Community Center. Read all about our Community Center HERE.
Location: Hartness House Hotel, Springfield Vermont
Tickets: Adult weekend pass purchased in advance is $50, or $65 at the door.

PrintName: Gaslight Gathering 5, Sept 18-20
Gaslight Gathering 5 is Steampunk and Victoriana Convention that will be held September 18-20, 2015 at the Town & Country Resort Hotel in San Diego, California. Schedule of events
Tickets: Adult weekend tickets are $50, with a 50% discount for educators, military, seniors and youth (with valid IDs)

Name: Steamposium, Sept 25-27
Description: We’re currently putting together the show for Steamposium 2015, one of the largest, most amazing Steampunk events on the planet. Like our amazing show last year, be prepared for luminaries and sky pirates from across the steampunk world. We’re still working through some of the exact programming, but it will be epic. We do know a few things… last year’s burlesque show as a huge hit, and we’ll definitely be bringing that back — while adding in a lot more family-friendly programming. We’ll smooth out a few kinks from last year and add in some new things people haven’t seen before.
Location: Seattle, WA
Tickets: Adult weekend passes are $65, and there are still package deals available that include admission to events/shows for $150 and $160

Name: Grand Canadian Steampunk Festival, Sept 25-27
Description: We welcome you to the Second Annual GCSE, once again filled with sights, sounds, and experiences that have to be seen to be believed. We’ll time travel to the world of a real, honest to goodness 19th century Fort, where delights and pleasures abound – along with a multitude of surprises and experiences that you simply haven’t encountered anywhere before. What happens when you let a very large gaggle of Steampunks loose in a very large Fort full or soldiers, muskets, cannons, and so forth? The mind boggles.
Location: Fort George, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada
Tickets: There are separate passes for days and nights for this festival. Weekend-long day time passes are 65 CAD, and weekend passes that include nightly events (concerts by Abney Park, Professor Elemental and Steam Powered Giraffe) are 140 CAD.

Name: Steampunk Fest Roma, Sept 11-13
Description: There will be a market, exhibitions, live events, seminars with authors and contests with prizes including a trip for 2 to London for the best cosplay.
Location: Rome, Italy, Testaccio District (Global Village)
Tickets: Couldn’t find the prices on the website, sorry!

Name: Steampunk Convention Luxembourg, Sept 26-27
There isn’t much information on the web, but the pictures from the event in previous years look amazing. It takes place at an open air museum with real trains.
Location: Fon-du-gras, Luxembourg
Website: Facebook page
Tickets: couldn’t find prices on the website, sorry!
